Michael and Nikki's Favourite Things To Do

While waiting for the dinner reception, why not check out some of our favourite things to do in Vancouver?

1. Rain or Shine Ice Cream

1926 W 4th Ave #102, Vancouver, BC V6J 1M6
www.rainorshineicecream.com

While it's a bit outside of Vancouver's downtown core, it is definitely worth the drive (or long walk) for their homemade ice cream and fresh waffle cones! Honey Lavender is Nikki's favorite, and London Fog is Michael's.

2. Shopping

You may be suprised to know that Michael loves to shop just as much as Nikki! Window shopping on Robson Street, sightseeing around Gastown, or browsing in Pacific Centre will be more than enough to satisfy any shopping cravings. Perhaps you can check out the gift registry before you go ;)

3. Stanley Park & Seawall

Relive Michael and Nikki's first date and take a stroll along the city's beloved Seawall! A favourite of locals and tourists alike, you can choose to walk, bike (in tandem?), or roller-skate the length of this ocean-side walkway. It's the perfect mix of the cityscape, mountainviews, and ocean air!

4. Sunset beach

1204 Beach Ave, Vancouver, BC V6E 1V3

Soak in some sunshine, and visit the place where the big proposal happened! Sunset beach boasts of georgeous ocean views while being less crowded than most beaches in Vancouver.

5. Japadog

530 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2B7
www.japadog.com

This one's for Michael. This Japanese-style hotdog is one of Michael's favourite Vancouver eats! With the perfect balance of juicy hotdogs, seaweed, and teriyaki sauce, a Japadog never dissapoints. Have a side of seasoned fries to complete the meal!

6. Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie

1059 alberni street (thurlow/burrard)
www.thierrychocolates.com

You may or may not know that Nikki has a big sweet tooth, and Thierry is one of her favourite places to satisfy it! Thierry offers a tempting assortment of French pasteries and chocolates. You can't leave without trying their hot chocolate, which has the taste and texture of pure melted chocolate! You will likely catch the bride sipping on a cup before the reception ;)
